Linford Barnes

Linford Barnes, a self-taught artist who has been drawing since early childhood, realized his interest and talent for art and exhibited artistic abilities.

As a young child, Linford painted murals on his bedroom walls as a reminder of life's journey. He is influenced by the positive aspects of his experiences.

"My art is my history, where questions are answered, and even more are asked. For myself, and for others, to know my art is to know me."

Linford draws and paints because he finds it incredibly challenging. "I am to my art as it is to me, a constantly rewarding process." Linford's art reflects love, spirituality, consciousness, awareness, color and energy. His work is characterized by the rich use of color and the mixing of media. Colored pencil and acrylic paint are his favorite materials. Linford's desire is to make a substantial contribution to the lives of people who are touched by his artwork.
